This is a difficult loop trail to Des Plaines River Scenic Overlook in Illinois.
This trail goes by Poverty Prairie and Sawmill Creek Waterfall.

Warm and sunny day in July. Temps about 90+, blue sky and a mild breeze. The trail is crushed stone and fairly flat the whole way. A nice easy walk and a little side spur to the waterfall if you choose to do it. Wildlife was out, we saw a deer next to the trail (< 25 yds from us), bugs were minimal.
