Parked on 89 halfway between the 2 trailheads. Walked down to Eagle Falls trailhead. It goes up and up and up! We saw snow not too far off. The two lakes are charming and the final descent has stunning views but is steep. The trail is easy to follow and well maintained. I wore Skechers designed for working in a restaurant. I was fine and glad to have lightweight shoes on. Just a tiny slip on the final way down. Hiking poles would have been great.
