Public Tracks
8/24/15: Tuolumne Meadows to Sunrise HSC
We walked for a mile from Tuolumne Meadows to evaluate our packs (load balances and strap adjustments). Then, we caught the shuttle to the trailhead. This track begins at the trailhead, and ends at Sunrise High Sierra Camp.
The lessons we learned were:
1) pack lighter!
2) train more on the stairmaster at the gym before the trip
3) a day and a half of altitude acclimation is the bare minimum! Another day would've been very helpful!
