Walk Back to Fortymile Trailhead
I took my time while the rest of the team charged ahead at the end. Did some incredible bird watching and used my nicer device to take tons of desert flower pics. Most of this trek is in the sand, and tons of uphill. Interesting challenge.
We got better at handling our packs at the crack, too. :)
