Short Loop Loop(edit)

Overview

This is a moderate loop trail in Alien Run Recreation Area. Interesting rock formations. Fun alien theme. Definitely mountain bike oriented but also a great hike. Limited elevation changes make this an easier hike than the distance would suggest.
Some may find sound from multiple oil well sites intrusive. Others will find these installations interesting.

Getting Started

Use your GPS to navigate the dirt roads to the parking lot. Two shaded picnic tables in the parking lot. Pit toilet, changing enclosure and bike servicing stand with pump and tools.

Taking Children

Alien theme: rock formations, official signage and unofficial painted small rocks - may entertain kids
