View on Raven Cliff Falls via Raven Cliff Falls Trail
Overview
This is an easy out and back trail in Caesar's Head State Park. The trail is very attractive and well maintained.
At 1.4 miles in you will come to a trail junction and map kiosk. Take a left and then follow the next sign to the overlook on the right. At the overlook, there is a pretty -- but distant -- view of Raven Cliff Falls.
This is a great intro to Caesars Head SP, and you'll be wanting to return for the longer hikes that take you to the waterfall up close.
Getting Started
There is a small paved parking lot across the main road (Hwy 276) from the trailhead. This is an extremely popular trail, and the lot fills up most weekends.
There is an overflow parking area a short walk north along the road, as well as the new Silver Step Fall Parking close by ( https://goo.gl/maps/vq6YWfFooLCW48Zy7 ).
SC State Park parking pass or payment required.
Taking Children
This is a good hike for children and well-behaved and leashed dogs.
