Overview
This is a difficult loop trail to Frosty Creek Camp in E.C. Manning Provincial Park.
This trail goes by Lightning Lake Beach and Frosty Mountain.
You can hike up Windy Joe and loop clockwize around the peak of Frosty and back down through Frosty Camp to Lightning Lake (the look should be around 26km), or run the reverse, or just in and out from either side.
Getting Started
You can park at Lightning Lake and loop from there, or the Windy Joe trailhead as a less busy alternative.
Taking Children
This is potentially a very long trail, depending on your route. Endurance is the order of the day. Weather conditions in E.C. Manning can be unpredictable. Be very careful in the shoulder season.
