Getting Started
The trail: Kid-friendly (second graders and up) trail with beautiful views of the river. One minute into the trail there is a stepdown to the rover that has a gorgeous view of the morning mist. Near the north terminus there is a deck that is elevated and has a commanding view of some “rapids”. Overall a decent trail that has spur trails leading to the water for some fishing activities. Bring bug spray!
Taking Children
