This is a moderate loop trail in Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area. It has views of Elephant Mountain, Skull Mesa, New River Mesa and Sugarloaf Mountain.

This hike can be accessed via Spur Cross Trailhead near Cave Creek, Arizona.
There is a $3/person fee to use the conservation area

I found Jewel of the Creek and Dragonfly trail to be exceptionally smooth. Arizona trails especially after a rain can be covered with fist sized rocks. This trail was like walking on soft earth and I walked it a day after a rain. Mountain views were exceptional with a light dusting of snow on the north faces. Flowers were just starting to show although it was just a little early for a big show. This is an easy trail with some climbs that should be enjoyed for the scenery as opposed to the challenge. Well worth the $3.
