Easy to follow and well marked. This trail has lots of viewpoints of the Inlet and Malahat along the way. Difficulty wise it is moderate due to rocks and roots and being lengthy.

Beautiful hike in the spring when the wildflowers are in bloom. Great views from the viewpoints on a clear day. Loose rock on descents requires caution.

Sunny, clear day. Good signage, flats with up and downs, I agree with the moderate rating. Can’t say enough about the viewpoints if you have a clear day

This is a moderate hike. The trail is well defined with lots of trail signs providing you with information about the various directions to go. Along the hike you have quite a few great views of the Saanich Inlet. Definitely a good way to spend a few hours.
