I left the Oaks parking area at Spring Lake and headed up Canyon Trail after crossing the old trestle over spring creek. I rounded Lake Ilsanjo and stopped at the Gazebo at the north end of the lake for a snack. I continued onto Rough Go and followed it back down to the trestle and to the parking lot. It was about 7.5 miles by my gps and 2.5 hours. I counted a dozen deer, 2 coyotes and several gaggles of turkeys. Great hike.
