Blanca lake
Hiked with singles group. Good turn out ~15people. Drove up the night before with Eric. I spent the night in van. Pretty steady incline. Slightly faster paced than my normal but good motivating pace. Got hot quick. Luckily mostly hiking under trees until lake. We hike further around the lake. Nice spot. Forgot white claws in van. Was convinced to jump in. My first alpine lake jump! Walked over to rock to jump. Way better spot. After we jumped we grabbed the rest of the group and packs. Spent ~3 hours at the lake. Pole very helpful on way down. 2 would have been good too but too lazy to get out other one. Long drive home, stopped for Rico’s pizza in gold bar.
