Boquillas Canyon Trail(edit)

Overview

This is an easy out and back trail that brings you into Boquillas Canyon in Big Bend National Park. The trail climbs briefly from the parking area before descending to the Rio Grande river and Boquillas Canyon. From there it is a short level walk along the river to the mouth of the canyon. The trail ends after approximately 1.25 miles.

Note, there is limited shade and no reliable water along the trail, be sure to bring plenty of water, especially in the spring and summer.

Getting Started

The trailhead starts at the Boquillas Canyon parking area. There is a vault toilet available nearby.
