This was a good hike, but the mosquitoes were a little overbearing. I don’t think I would rate it as an easy hike as it gained 700 feet of elevation and just under 1 mile. The views before making a descent down to the lake are great, we did not go past that saddle. We would definitely do the hike again in better weather conditions where mosquitoes were not a factor.
