This is a moderate loop trail accessing Mount Kearsarge from Winslow State Park passing through Kearsarge Mountain State Forest.

Getting Started
The trails start at the south (uphill) end of Winslow State Park ($4.00 fee to enter when open). Parking is at the south end and its only a few steps to the trailhead. Winslow State Park https://www.nhstateparks.org/visit/state-parks/winslow-state-park.
Taking Children
The Winslow trail is a straight uphill climb for 1 mile. The Barlow trail winds around the mountain ascending more gradually for 1.8 miles. Great views from the summit. Winslow SP has a playground, toilets, water picnic tables and pavilions. Consider hiking with children 8+.

This loop is ideal as a short loop to a summit with fantastic 360 degree views. It was a fun morning hike of about 2 hours. No bugs, not strenuous. Great for families and dogs.

With Jon. Parked at Rollins. Up Lincoln, then down to Winslow SP via Winslow Trail and back up on Barlow. Down Rollins Trail. Climbed the fire tower.
