This is a memorable, very steep hike, guaranteed to keep the heart rate up. It was the most direct route to the summit and climbs 3750' in just 3.1 miles. It took us 1 hr 50 min to ascend (~1900'/hr) and the pistons in my legs were really burning. Hiking partner David is really fit and was patient for me towards the end.
