Overview
This is a easy loop trail to Mount Philo in Mount Philo State Park.
This is a popular hiking area that is moderately to heavily trafficked. The summit has plenty of area to rest, eat and enjoy the scenery.
Getting Started
Plenty of parking, that is located at 5425 Mt Philo Rd, Charlotte, VT 05445. Parking is right at the trail head. Restrooms are available (porta potty) but they are clean and well maintained.
Taking Children
This is a very accessible hike for families with small children. This hike is not stroller friendly but very doable with a hiking child carrier. Small children in elementary school can accomplish this hike and be successful both up and down.
