Overview
This is a easy loop trail in Deschutes National Forest and goes by Catlin Lake. This is a beautiful and very family friendly hike with abundant water, some fun stream crossings over log bridges, and open wet areas for kids and dogs to play in. There are no expansive top-of-the mountain views but the scenery makes it all worthwhile. More adventurous hikers can take the out-and-back trail to a peak of Three Fingered Jack, but this is not very child friendly.
This is an alternate route for Three Fingered Jack Loop via Canyon Glacier Trail #4010 and Summit Lake Trail #4014.
