Overview
This is an easy loop trail in McDowell Creek County Park. There are many waterfalls to see along the trail, including Royal Terrace Falls and Majestic Falls. There is one spot that could be challenging for those with mobility challenges. There is a stair set that is about 100 steps with slippery wood and rocks.
Getting Started
Take I-5 to Exit 233 for Highway 20. Turn east at the light onto Highway 20 toward Lebanon. Drive 18.6 miles, passing through Lebanon, and turn left onto Fairview Road for McDowell County Park. In 1 mile, bear left onto McDowell Creek Drive. Drive another 7.7 miles to the first parking area for the county park on the right.
Taking Children
Appropriate hike for children. As always, use caution as the trail may be muddy and slippery.
