Zealand Fall Hut (11/28/15)
Hike to Zealand Falls Hut from the parking area at the end of Zealand Road.
The road was still open on November 28th.
Getting to the hut was easy as the trail was free of snow. Some frozen puddles existed and the ponds along the way had a partial covering of thin ice.
The falls near the hut had ice build up along the edges of the water as it flowed over the rocks there.
The Twinway above the hut (not tracked) had more frozen puddles and rocks glazed over with ice. Only went as far as the scenic overlook of Zeacliff. Snowflakes were falling later in the afternoon, but only resulted in a dusting by the next morning.
