Mount Isolation via Glen Boulder Trail and Davis Path
This is a difficult out and back trail to Mount Isolation in White Mountain National Forest.
Glen Ellis Parking lot for Glen Boulder tail is on the west side of route 16 and is a busy trail head. On a busy weekend the lot will fill up. White mountain National Forest parking pass is required in this lot. A day pass for $5 can be purchased on site. Glen Boulder trail climbs moderately steep and will be above tree line at about the 1.5 mile mark to Glen Boulder. There is great views of the Wildcat Ridge from this point. The trail then goes back into tree line for a while before going back above tree line. The trail spends a significant amount of time above tree line so fair weather is necessary.
