Overview
This 5.2 mi round trip hike is an easy-to-moderately strenuous out and back hike to Hurricane Mountain from route NY 9N in Adirondack Park. The rocky summit of Hurricane Mtn., on which there is an abandoned fire tower, offers views of Lake Champlain, Vermont’s Green Mountains, and many of the high peaks.

Marked by a trailhead sign, parking is available on the north side of route NY 9N in Keene, NY. The trail leaves the north side of route NY 9N.
