    Great hike, somewhat low effort high reward. One decent water crossing ( 20 ft maybe) rock hopped just fine, trekking poles could be very useful during higher water. Small slab scrambles near the top. 10/10 for views!

    Gorgeous views at top, quick and rather easy summit. Spring stream requires fording - did it barefoot. Met a new friend (Dan of Portland and SF) on the trail.

    1st off. This is not an “EASY” hike. It is moderate but totally worth the effort. The views from the summit are beautiful! And it’s on the 52 WAV list.

Potash
Tom Downes Brook crossing was fine, a few wet rocks. Trail is rocky and roots in spots, then onto the slabs while traversing the hill. Blazes on the approach to the summit need beefing up and repainting. No cairns, probably because there are no rocks with which to build them!
