Bessie Butte(edit)

Overview

This is a easy out and back trail to Bessie Butte in Deschutes National Forest. The trail climbs up the slope of the butte until it reaches the broad open summit where there is plenty of room to spread out and take a break. Views stretch for miles and include many of the Cascade peaks.

Getting Started

The trail starts on the west side of the road.

This is a short hike that most children will be able to do.
