Overview

This is a moderate loop trail to the Summit House atop Mount Holyoke in Skinner State Park. The forest and views are lovely. There are several short scrambles over rocks, which are not dangerous or intimidating for anyone with hiking boots and some hiking experience. Slower hikers should leave 2 1/2 hours or more.

Typical I go up to the summit via the trail then down the road but I wanted to explore the dry Brook trail. What a beautiful hidden gem through a little ravine with evergreens and hemlocks. It was pretty slick with all the oak leaves haven just landed on the trail.
