Overview
This is an out and back trail in Chugach State Park, Alaska on a well established trail. Wolverine Peak and Near Point are adjacent peaks with a valley between them. Prospect Heights is a popular trail head or Basher Drive Trail head is another option. Both routes begin in the mixed birch and spruce forest and progress through alders and into alpine as you climb. Both trails are moderately steep but there are no cliffs or steep drop offs along the trails.
