Overview
This is a easy out and back trail to The Rimrocks in The Cockscomb Wilderness Study Area.
This trail goes by Toadstool Hoodoos.
Very popular trail alongside Highway 89. This trail is very easy, and provides you with some quick views of interesting geological hoodoos. You can extend the hike by including the Rimrocks portion of the trail.
Getting Started
There is a large Bureau of Land Management sign alongside Highway 89 for the trail. There's a decent sized parking lot that puts you right at the trailhead.
Taking Children
Easy hike for children.

Fun easy little like but I would not want to do it in the summer. The area is unique and there are better hoodoos around however they can make for good photography during the right times. Please stay off of the hoodoos. I saw several people climbing on them. They are mostly soft mud ruck so they can erode quickly and one has already been flattened by people climbing on it.

I took this hike twice in the same day, once in the early afternoon to scout out some night sky photography locations and then again at night in the pitch black. The hike is easy with a little elevation at the end. At night it’s relatively easy if you follow the wash and know where to leave it to start the elevation portion. Bring a good flashlight. The location is ideal for star photography and I was very happy with my Milky Way photos. The hoodoos are very photogenic against the night sky.

Toadstool Trailhead to Toadstool Hoodoos, Kane County, UT, USA
Easy, short, and mostly flat hike to see the Hoodoos/Toadstools. Sunny and warm weather in the mid-day when we hike this trail.
