This is an out and back trek of the Knobstone Trail which is Indiana's longest footpath. Due to damage from a tornado in 2012, the trail head at Deam Lake has been relocated as reflected in this trip. There aren't any panoramic views available from this section of the trail. It is a nice stroll through hardwood forests along the Knobstone Escarpment. I found one campsite just along the trail but primitive camping is allowed. The trail was closed from mile 4 - 9 while trail repairs continue. Overall a nice hike with over elevation gain of 400 ft.
