O ja, nog een ding, terug in de warme auto kwamen we er achter dat we de wandeling achterstevoren hebben gelopen.[UK] 'San' is feeling a little ill (whole week no sport) and would like to do a nice walk. So I looked on gpstracks.nl and found Wandeling Numendal en Diepe Hel. A walk in the forests around Holten (a small village in the neigherhood) of approx. 20 km. This is our first walk with the route preloaded in the Garmin.I did some digging on the internet on geotagging and found geotag, a Java application which reads your photo's and gps logging and estimates the locations and altitude of the photo's. The location is added to the EXIF metadata part of the photo's. This metadata is used by everytrail to automap the photo. So I did our little trail in the snow with GPS, camera and netbook (to look for geocaches in the neighberhood). As you can tell by the pictures, it is beautiful in Holten. The snow really adds a dimension. One more thing: back in the (warm) car we found out we did the walk backwards.
