Beautiful area in the high desert on BLM land. Lots of Joshua trees, plenty of wild flowers. The area sits at 3000 - 6000ft. The roads are well maintained although there are sandy areas. Plenty of spots to camp. On the negative side, the camping areas although beautiful, there is lots of spent ammo casings and clay pigeon trash. Still worth the visit.
