Wunderlich County Park is a wonderful park in Woodside, CA (https://parks.smcgov.org/wunderlich-park).
The small (free) parking lot provides is shared by horse riders and other park visitors. Additional parking, when the lot is full, can be had along Portola Rd in spots where there is enough space for cars to park without hindering the traffic. The parking lot is usually full on weekends.
We started our hike on the Bear Gulch Trail; right on the Madrone Trail, stopping to look at the green-algae covered Salamander Pond, continuing on the Meadow Trail; right on Meadow Trail; Oak Trail;
left on Bear Gulch trail to Meadow Flat; Bear Gulch Trail; right on Madrone Trail; left on Meadow Trail; left on Loop Trail, passing by the Folgers Estate property through the stables to the parking lot. We came across a number of deer roaming around the trails.
