Morning trail run/hike up to Dragon's Tooth. This is the less frequented way to the top of the Tooth, most opting to take the shorter route from the trail head off of Rt 311. This was a fairly steep hike and rocky in sections. The AT thru-hikers were in full swing, I saw about 12-13. I talked with one named Tin Man and heard of another, Grasshopper. I also learned that there are several Germans hiking the trail as a PBS documentary was shown last year in the country and inspired a number to hike the trail this year. The Tooth was gorgeous, I think it is one of the best vistas I've had the witness to see. Wildflowers were out in bloom as well. I've included some of my shots along with the classification.
