Suggestion from a fellow member of North Shore Hikers: "Mark, there might be some difficult bushwacking from 2nd Lake West on the route you have marked out, but there is a trail from just before 2nd Lake (in the direction you're going) that goes uphill to the right and gets you to Suicide Bluffs trail about a third of the way from its West end. Then you could continue East along the trail you have marked or, alternatively once you're up on the Suicide Bluffs trail, go to the West end then come back and continue along the route you have mapped out." My response: "I think your suggestion has the added advantage of avoiding the steepest section of the Suicide Bluffs trail, with those fixed ropes." PS: Hmm, if we avoid that steep section, then we might choose to hike this loop counterclockwise, with the idea of doing the rougher part earlier (more time to recover if problems). => Following the above notes, here's the hike we actually did: https://www.gaiagps.com/datasummary/track/9c6247fbdd2d248106b946102df063eb/?layer=GaiaTopoRasterMeters
