The trails are really fire roads in loose sand with tire ruts. Therefore, you don't really feel like you are on a trail. In addition, the trails are only adequately marked. If you are not paying attention you might take a fire road that is not the main trail and get sidetracked. You don't follow blazes, but rather signs with numbers. The one nice thing about this park is the wilderness. It was very quiet out there. I saw around 5 deer, several woodpeckers, and a cardinal.
