stars lkuracina Oct. 17, 2019 Bike & Hike. As there is a washout on the Olympic Hot Springs road we took our bikes and biked the ~7 miles to Whiskey Bend trailhead (stopping at the Elwah Dam site) and then hiked into Humes Ranch (meadow) and camped there (with camp fire in the evening). The next day we continued up to Dodger Point and camped down below in the camping area. One has to hike down to the tarns to get water. It was snowing in the evening and the morning when we got up. We hiked back down (snow, then rain, then sun, then more rain) and as we made good time we decided rather than camp another night at Humes Ranch that we would continue out. The bike down was much easier. Great trip.
