Saturday was looking like the last "good" day to hike up high without getting snowed on so I thought I would finally pay a visit to Van Epps Pass. I started at the end of the NF Teanaway Rd, though that was closed a mile before the end, came over Fortune Pass and past Lake Ann to VEP. It was socked in and raining most of the way in and there was a decent amount of snow above 6000' but it was still a good trip. The trail between Lake Ann and VEP was surprising well defined, even with snow on it. With the road closure I got in a little over 14.5 miles and 3200' of gain.
