This is an amazing hike with great views of Las Vegas, Henderson, Lake Mead, andMt. Charleston. It follows a steep dirt road to the top of the mountain where there are radio towers. If you hike up along the fence around the towers and behind along the ridge, you will find amazing views. You must have good hiking shoes to do this hike. It is very rocky and it is easy to slip on the loose rocks even with hiking boots. You must watch every single step you take so it isn't a Sunday hike. Hiking poles will help you keep your balance and keep you from falling. The distance on this hike is not correct because my phone died before we got to the end. Make sure you follow the fence up and behind because this is the best part of the hike.
