stars Cowboy Sept. 9, 2019 This route is the short route to hike the Devil's Causeway across and back. Parking is limited at the trailhead and it is always busy. There is little to no solitude on this trail. If you are lucky you will get to spend some time at the top without other people. There is a vault toilet at the trailhead. Rangers are generally always in the area. There are numerous paid camp sites along the road within a few miles of the trailhead. The camp sites are nice and some have a water pump. The hike is moderate and straight forward. The last little push to the top is steep. Hiking poles are recommended.
