Hike by Simon
There are many temples on the way, I visited ~ 15. Most of them offer accommodation and meals.
Full hike is a hardship, make sure your physical condition is matched the goal to get to the summit.
90% of the trail are steps up. ~30% are slopes with 70-80° .
If you are ready, the next step is preparing required equipment. 2 Trekking poles, comfortable hiking shoes and bagpack, rain gear for you and for the bagpack, warm clothes are strictly required and really must have.
On the top is 0°C in spring, in winter much colder, in temples and hostels on the trail is cold, no heating, however beds have electric heaters under the sheets.
Have a nice journey!
