These Falls are located along or really close by County Road 4290, just south of Oark, AR.

To get here, turn east from HWY 103 and onto County Road 4290. This is a dirt road, and is a little bumpy in many places. Almost immediately, you'll have to ford across Washita Creek, although the creek bed at that point is seemingly pretty compact and stable. Unless it's a highwater situation, most 2WD with decent clearance could make it.

Drive along CR 4290 for approx 3/4 mile, and you will see 4290 Falls on your left as you near a sharp bend. The best falls are in the ravine below it. This track is one way (coming OUT) but follow that in reverse. The bank that leads to the creek bed is steep, but short, and is much steadier on this side than the loose shale on the left hand side of the run off from 4290.
