After I made my way almost to the Sudbury River across the Paine Estate land, I tried bushwhacking to reach high ground toward the south---and discovered some trails I hadn't been on before. They are on SVT land, dubbed with Henry Knox's name, between the Paine Estate and Old Conn Path. I ended up crossing Old Conn Path at the Harland Way junction. Then I headed up Harland Way into the Mainstone Conservation area and then home. Great walk with temperatures in the late 30s and early 40s. Very nice walk on level ground. Wore my gym shoes---no pack and no blisters.
