kb1zhs June 24, 2020 I did this hike while northern new england was experiencing a 5 day heat wave. The trail was in decent shape but every rock was covered in moisture which made footing kind of interesting. Muddy in numerous spots and the last 1.1 miles are more rock climbing than trail hiking. There is a series of wood ladders ( 9 ) that are very cool and show a lot of hard work was done here. Not much at the summit but there is a small overlook with great views. And plenty of bugs!
