Grizzly Bear Creek and Falls

A nice little walk to a couple of small waterfalls on Grizzly Bear Creek. Start at the back of the campground (use fee for day use), and follow the faint trail between two parking logs. You'll immediately cross the creek. The trail is faint at times, but generally follows the stream southward. The trail crosses the creek five times in all before you reach the waterfalls. Poison ivy can be a problem, so it's not recommended for little kids. Unfortunate, because there are some nice wading pools and places to get cooled off. The creek is running fast this month due to an unusual amount of rain in May and June.
