High-End Rating: 5
This trail is not marked on either end, and it connects one end of Gold Bar Rim with the middle of Bull Canyon. If you drive it from north to south you will drive uphill over the major obstacles, making them more fun and challenging. The trail dips down into Little Canyon, then back up out of it.
The start of the trail is at a "T" intersection with Gold Bar Rim, and a sign marks the way to Gold Bar Rim to the left. Turn right here to start Little Canyon. Note that there is another "T" intersection later on where Rusty Nail starts (a much more difficult trail marked with a brown Forest Service sign).
Little Canyon starts with the best obstacle on the trail, a collection of big rocks with no bypass. Pick your way carefully and you should have no issues.
The trail continues on red dirt and slickrock patches, with a few obstacles here and there. Eventually you will connect with a wide, graded road that is the Bull Canyon trail. Turn right to go back the way you came, or left to go to Bull Canyon.
