Mariposa Grove Loop(edit)

Overview

This is a fantastic place with massive and ancient trees that is open April-Nov. There are several different loops that you can choose from. The easiest is .3 miles and the longest is 7 miles. At the top of the longest loop is an overlook of the valley below. This is a heavily trafficked area. (This area is currently closed due to wildfire)

Getting Started

You must park at the Mariposa Welcome Center and take a shuttle to the main trailhead. (This area is currently closed due to wildfire)

Taking Children

The easiest loop would be fine with children. The other loops would not be recommended for kids. Dogs are not allowed.
