Settings Screen

The Settings screen lets you adjust settings for all Gaia GPS screens, provides "About Us" type information, and links to online help documentation. You can also reset the app from this page if you'd like to clear all of your data and restore Gaia to its original state.

Map Download Settings

The "Auto-resume" switch controls whether map downloads will continue automatically whenever you turn the app on (you might turn it off when you only have roaming cell coverage or similar).

The Last Integrity Check is the last time the program scanned the map directory to ensure you have all the maps you expect to. We implemented this feature after we had a data loss issue in iOS5.

The Data Integrity Check runs whenever Apple/you upgrade your operating system, or whenever you manually trigger it in settings
